CAMBODIAN ORGANIC ADVENTURE
A Collective Adventure of Discovery and Learning
Choose from one of our 7-day Collective Adventures to experience our permaculture and community projects. They are helping to create a brighter future for Cambodia
Take a journey through Cambodia to discover and experience the sustainable projects that are helping to make a difference in the local communities.
Take time to visit some ancient and majestic temples, and some beautiful wilderness. At the heart of it all, is experiencing the projects that are bringing permaculture and sustainable community development to Cambodia.
We have two amazing 7-Day adventures to choose from, or you may put them together for an incredible 14 days!
You will be hosted in week 1 by Olivier Collineau, one of the founders of OrganiKH, and in week 2 by Lionel Aurousseau, one of the founders of Baitong. Both hail from France, have married into local families, and have a passion for bringing permaculture to Cambodia.
Week One – Siem Reap to Phnom Penh
Join your host Olivier Collineau on this 7-day exploration, starting from Siem Reap. We include visits to the beautiful Camborea and OrganiKH permaculture project, and a workshop at the Greenshoots Agri-Tech Centre. You will stay at a unique Floating Village on the Tonle Sap. We will then visit a vital community Coconut project and finish off at the stunning Mekong Island of Koh Dach in Phnom Penh, at the training centre project which we are supporting.
Week Two – Phnom Penh to Kampot & Return
Join Lionel Aurousseau as we start on the beautiful Mekong River island of Koh Dach, before heading to Kirirom Mountain, and enjoy an overnight stay at the remarkable Coconut School, which has been built partly from recyclable material.
We then explore the provinces of Kep and Kampot, with visits to an organic pepper farm, and a site visit to the organic food gardens of the stunning oceanside resort of Knai Bang Chatt. We hold a workshop at OM Kampot Permaculture Foodforest — one the original projects in Cambodia, and a maturing food forest too. We stay 2 nights at the Ubuntu Miracle Farm, and experience their unique application of sustainable principles. Then, we finish with 2 nights at the Baitong Permaculture Project, where we experience the organic approach being applied to the traditional Khmer rural life.
An amazing choice between two 7-day exploration of permaculture and community projects in Cambodia — or join both for an incredible 14 days!
