The journey begins
ISABELA PERMACULTURE DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
Travel into the beautiful northern areas of Luzon — and within the town of Ilagan, is the stunning Isabela Permaculture Development Center. Available for short stays — but we recommend a minimum of 7 Days to really settle in, get to know your hosts, and make a difference.
You will stay in the magical center which overlooks the garden within the dorm rooms. The IPDC runs workshops and an important co-operative for local farmers. The permaculture gardens, themselves, await you, and enjoying them in the early morning and late afternoon will be part of the experience. They feature the 5 zones as well as demonstration areas for housing and cooking systems.
You will be joining a team of passionate people working at the centre, and enjoy fish caught and produce grown as part of your three healthy meals a day. A visit here has to be on your volunteer journey through the Philippines.
