This is such a culturally rich and diverse country that it is difficult to narrow it down to 10 but here goes. 1) Koh Rong and Koh Rong Sanloem These tropical sister islands are a short ferry ride from the coastal town of Sinanouk Ville and offer something for everyone no matter your budget or style of travelling. Snorkel over beautiful reefs, find a deserted beach or wander through the rain forests in the hinterland. If you are looking to party stay in the many guesthouses in Koh Rong’s main village or both Koh Rong and Koh Rong Sanloem have some delightful resorts located on often deserted beaches away from the crowds. This is a great place to unwind and relax. 2) Koh Kong Offering everything from the stunning Cardamom Mountains, waterfalls, incredible estuaries to explore, deserted beaches and tropical islands to discover this has to be on you r list of places to visit. With much of the area untouched by development it is starting to be discovered by visitors and with good reason. Again there is a range of accommodation options from a luxury resort floating on the river to family homestays. For those looking to escape into nature then you cannot go past the province of Koh Kong. 3) Mondulkiri Located in the northern part of Cambodia this province is home to stunning jungles, cascading waterfalls and a number of ethnic groups still very much living a traditional way of life.
